​​​​Our program tuition is a yearly amount. We offer our customers two payment options.  

1) Pay in full for the year and receive a 10% discount  

2) Take the yearly tuition and divide it into 9 monthly payments. (If you choose this payment option, monthly payments are due on the 1st first of the month. They are considered late after the 10th and a late fee of $10 will be added to your account balance. We strongly encourage our customers to take advantage of our Monthly autodraft. It will save you time and money!   

3) Tuition price will vary depending on location

*Please DO NOT send payments with your student's to their school location. Our instructors will not accept any forms of payment. If you chose to pay by check, please mail it to our office.*   For South Carolina Students Only!

There is a $35 fee for all returned checks. *After your first returned check OR declined credit card autodraft payment, you will be required to pay your yearly tuition in full or your student will be dismissed from the program.  

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

*Tuition is NOT based on the number of classes per month.*

Please note that we do not prorate for absences. If the dance teacher needs to cancel class for any reason, we will schedule a makeup class or issue a refund. Special cases may be granted if we are informed of absences in advance. Examples of this would be a family traveling abroad for weeks at a time, or a child who has a chronic illness. Temporary sickness, appointments, vacations, etc are not examples of a special case.

You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation requests must be made via email and sent to LaceUpStudios@gmail.com. Please do not notify your child’s location or teacher. Our office must be notified as soon as possible in order to prevent future billing.

• Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis and are subject to how many classes your student has attended.

Lace Up Studios reserves the right to dismiss a child and/or parent from our dance program due to behavior. We want our students and teachers to work and learn in a positive environment. 

Dance recitals will be held in May/June. Please login to your parent portal for your student's recital schedule. We do not charge our parents recital fees. Our recital costume fee is $65. You are responsible for bringing the correct tights and dance shoes on performance day. Your student's costume fee must be paid no later than January 1st. Costumes will be ordered in January and take 6-8 weeks to produce and ship. Student's will be measured for their costumes in class the first week of January. The costume fee is a standard fee charged to every student  for each class they are enrolled in. 

*Recital costume fees are non-refundable once the costume has been ordered.

*Recital is OPTIONAL. If you do not want to pay the costume fee, Please let us know before January 1st. Your student can still participate in classes if you chose not to participate in the recital performance. You have to pay the costume fee if your student is going to participate in the recital. 

Lace Up Studio teachers may alter your child’s dance attire. Examples include:

• Taping of taps on tap shoes (We do this to help prevent tiny dancers from slipping) Please do not remove tape.
• Trimming of shoes laces (Often, ballet laces are very long. We will trim them and tuck them inside their shoe. This will prevent class time being wasted continuously tying shoes)
• Labeling attire (a teacher may write your child’s name in her shoes, if you haven’t done so already)
• Lace Up Studios is not responsible for any lost items. If it is valuable, please leave it at home and do not wear to dance class. *Labeling all shoes and clothes is a great way to prevent lost items. We suggest sending your dancer to school with a separate “Dance Bag”. That way they can keep everything dance related in one place*
  

If you have questions or issues with any of the above, you must notify our office immediately

Lace Up Studios follows the schedule of the local county schools for the location in which your school is located for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break. For other holidays, we follow the calendar of the school. For inclement weather or emergency situations, Lace Up Studios will follow the county closings, or the school’s closing. Please watch your local news for closings due to inclement weather conditions. If class is missed due to weather, we will schedule a makeup class whenever possible. You will be notified of this date and time. If a makeup class isn’t possible, refunds will be issued.

I paid the registration fee last school year. Do I need to pay the fee again? ​

Yes. This is a Yearly fee for all new and returning students. 

Does Lace Up Studios offer discounts?

Yes we do.

Are there any other fees? Recital fees? Costume fees?​

Lace up Studios does not charge a recital fee. 

Our costume fee is $65. 

We only had 3 classes this month. Why did we pay the full monthly tuition?

Our program  tuition is a yearly charge. It is not calculated by how many classes are scheduled per  month. You have the option to pay your tuition in full for the year or we can prorate the yearly tuition over the nine month school year session. (September - May)​
